Leather clothing was predicted as a hot popular trend for Fall and Winter 2010 and designers have not dissapointed. Leather leggings have become especially hot this season, seen on everyone from people on the streets to models behind the camera. Authentic leather leggings are running on average, about $1,000. So for the rest of us (aka 99.9% of the population), who can't afford that price tag, there are some very affordable and equally fabulous alternatives. That is why my pick for today is this pair of wax pencil jeans from J Brand.

What's great about this pair of jeans is that they have that leather look to them but they're also a little toned down so you can wear them in more casual situations. Personally, I see myself pairing these with some boots and a loose tee. J Brand is a really popular brand among the celebrities and they are pretty reasonably priced. Unlike some of the other trends this season, leather doesn't seem to be going anywhere. You'll be able to wear these throughout 2011 and that's why they're such a great investment. Even if you can't justify to yourself purchasing a $200 pair of jeans, there a many cheaper versions of faux leather leggings out there and they won't be too hard to find.

So my pick of the day is this blue, sheer long sleeve tee by Blue Life. Let me tell you why I'm in love with this top... I think the color is amazing and would look good on almost anyone, the loose fit is on par with current trends, but mainly I'm just in lust with this look that Planet Blue put together. Unfortunately it's out of stock right now but I'm signed up to get the news the second that it comes back in stock.

Miley Cyrus + Dolce and Gabbana

Miley Cyrus wore this Dolce and Gabbana dress to the EMA's last week and oh. em. gee... I am incredibly jealous of Miley Cyrus for getting to wear this dress. She's not even 18 and she's wearing Dolce and Gabbana. Oh life is so unfair. This really was the perfect dress for her because it's not too revealing and it's still sexy. The bangles were the perfect addition and helped to complete the look. I have to say this was probably my favorite look at the award show last week.
